The next time Lucian woke, he woke slowly. He blinked open his eyes, pushing himself up to sit, leaning back against the couch. He was in the living room. He pushed back his hair, wincing at the headache he could feel coming on. His arm was still in a sling, though its sharp sting was now a dull ache.
